Happy Holidays, Music City!
2017 has been a year of huge change in Nashville and in your HDI Music City chapter. As our Middle Tennessee population grows at a rate still averaging a staggering 70+ people per day, the number of people in the tech support industry grows as well. Across several verticals including healthcare, software, finance, and manufacturing there are two common threads – everybody uses technology and technology users need support!
You are that audience we strive to bring value to and we thank you for your interest, attendance, and participation all year long. Programs this year ranged from the Benefits of a KCS Strategy through Quality Management and Coaching. Music City once again represented very well on the national stage and we congratulate Jeff Anderson from Lifeway Christian Resources on being named the HDI Desktop Support Technician of the Year.
Your HDI Music City board has experienced change this year as well. Congratulations to all who made career moves – promotion, change, and even retirement – on your next chapters in life. Your contribution to the chapter and the community has made a difference. I personally stand indebted and extremely grateful for your support! That mobility has created opportunity to serve. Thank you to those of you who have already contacted me
As 2018 dawns, keep an eye on this space. We are working on an announcement to air early next year and a meeting in February. As I reflect on the year 2017 was, I look forward to the challenge this new year will bring. See you all there!
President, HDI Music City
